Linux System Administrator

🚀 Linux System Administrator (RHEL) – Part-Time 🚀

We are looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator to support the administration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise Linux environments.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8/9) , automation tools, and container technologies, along with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8/9) environments.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure system security through hardening, user and access management, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize Linux infrastructure.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Podman, Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
• Support Linux automation and configuration management using Ansible.
• Provide technical consulting, documentation, and operational support.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to implement best practices.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience in Linux System Administration within enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Practical experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Experience with container technologies such as Podman, Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes .
• Knowledge of system hardening, patch management, performance tuning, and high-availability environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical teams.
• English: Good professional working proficiency.
• German: Nice to have.

Workload

• Part-time: Approximately 2 days per week.
