The Senior Linux Technical Consultant role focuses on providing expert consultancy in Linux platform and virtualization within the consulting sector. This position requires a seasoned professional with over 9 years of IT experience, possessing specialized skills in solution architecture and enterprise virtualization platforms such as VMware and KVM.

Description

• Minimum of 9 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in solution or platform consulting roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with KVM and VMware virtualization platforms, including architecture and migration strategies.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems, including kernel behavior, file systems, and network configurations.
• Proficient in automation and scripting for system management and deployment.
• Experience with storage integration, SAN/NAS concepts, and network troubleshooting in virtual environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a proactive and outcome-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage and deliver complex solutions in regulated enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of solution and enterprise architecture, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive the architecture governance process, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and managing architecture board reviews.
• Design, deploy, and manage Linux-based virtualization solutions using platforms such as HPE VM Essentials and Morpheus.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management processes.
• Perform advanced Linux/UNIX administration, including performance tuning and troubleshooting for enhanced system stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical dependencies and integration challenges in virtualized environments.
• Conduct root cause analysis and document incident and problem management processes.
• Support technical validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production readiness activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
