Linway Cinema Assistant Manager

MCIC INC is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Manager to join the team at Linway Cinema in Goshen, IN! Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily cinema operations to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience
• Supervise, train, and motivate front-line staff including box office, concessions, and floor crew
• Monitor and manage concession stand operations, inventory, and cash handling procedures
• Ensure theater cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company standards and policies
• Handle guest concerns and resolve customer service issues in a professional and timely manner
• Assist with scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and daily reporting
• Support film presentation operations and coordinate with projection staff as needed

Requirements:

• Previous supervisory or management experience in retail, hospitality, food service, or entertainment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a guest-first attitude
• Ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team in a high-energy environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Basic math and cash handling skills required
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
