Liquor Store Associate

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, while also contributing to the success of our retail operations. Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of our products and services, and be able to answer customer inquiries with confidence.
• Assist customers with product selection, and provide product opinions to showcase features and benefits.
• Process transactions efficiently and accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and ensuring the store is tidy and well-presented.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge,and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions.
• Provide support to customers via phone, and in-store.
• Develop and maintain a rapport with customers to build loyalty and drive repeat business.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management including stocking Beer, Liquor, Wine, and all other retail items

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service.
• Proficiency in basic retail math and inventory management.
• Strong product knowledge and the ability to learn quickly about new products.
• Experience in retail sales or customer service is an asset.
• Bilingual is an asset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Phone etiquette and the ability to handle customer inquiries via phone.
• Experience with POS systems is an asset.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed.
• A passion for retail sales and customer service is essential.
