Compensation: $35–$50 per hour, based on experience

Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, rotating schedule

Additional Incentives: $1/hour night shift differential + $5,000–$10,000 relocation bonus

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Litho Press Operator to join a large, established commercial printing and visual communications company in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Candidates with hands-on experience operating KBA or Heidelberg lithographic presses are strongly preferred . Experience with comparable commercial printing equipment will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lithographic printing presses to meet production requirements and quality standards.
• Perform press make-readies, including preparing equipment, adjusting settings, and verifying job specifications before production.
• Monitor production runs to ensure consistent output, accurate color reproduction, and high-quality finished products.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, operational, and print-quality issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Perform color matching and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistency throughout each print run.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
• Identify and resolve production issues while maintaining established quality and safety standards.
• Assist with training and supporting team members as needed.
• Help manage materials and inventory to support uninterrupted production operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience operating a lithographic printing press or similar commercial printing equipment.
• Strong understanding of press setup, make-readies, production runs, and print quality control.
• Experience troubleshooting press issues and making adjustments to maintain consistent production quality.
• Knowledge of color matching and color consistency in commercial printing.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance and standard production procedures.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating KBA or Heidelberg lithographic presses is strongly preferred.
• Experience with high-volume commercial printing operations.
• Familiarity with advanced press controls, color management, and production optimization.
• Experience assisting with operator training and maintaining efficient production workflows.
