Litigation Associate

A highly regarded New York law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with at least 5 years of experience handling complex commercial disputes. Experience involving real estate related litigation, construction disputes, or both is strongly preferred.

This opportunity offers significant responsibility, direct client exposure, and the chance to work on sophisticated, high profile matters alongside an established litigation team.

Must Haves

• Minimum 5 years of complex commercial litigation experience
• Experience drafting and arguing motions
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Strong discovery management experience, including document review and production
• Witness preparation experience for hearings, arbitrations, and trials
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of New York civil procedure
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and client-facing skills

Nice to Haves

• Real estate litigation experience
• Construction law dispute experience
• Trial, evidentiary hearing, or arbitration experience
• Settlement negotiation experience
• Experience using e-discovery platforms

Comp & Benefits

• Base salary: $220,000 - $250,000
