MANAGEMENT-SIDE EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION ASSOCIATE Winston-Salem, North Carolina | 3–5 Years of Experience

Friday Services is partnering with an established law firm to recruit an associate for its management-side Labor and Employment practice in Winston-Salem. This opening may be a strong fit for an attorney who enjoys substantive litigation work while also valuing collaboration, professional development, and ownership of their work. You will work in practices recognized as top-tier alongside attorneys who have received national recognition, yet with an annual hourly billable target of 1800, you won't sacrifice work/life balance. Attorneys throughout North Carolina who are open to the Winston-Salem market are encouraged to apply.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The associate will work alongside experienced employment attorneys on workplace disputes and litigation matters. Responsibilities may include:

• Conducting legal research and preparing written analysis

• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other case materials

• Supporting litigation strategy and case management

• Managing multiple matters and competing deadlines

• Collaborating with attorneys and clients throughout the litigation process

• Working independently while remaining connected to the broader legal team

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Three to five years of litigation experience

• Prior civil litigation experience

• Employment law experience preferred

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Sound judgment and the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Initiative, accountability, and a collaborative working style

• Admission to the North Carolina Bar or eligibility to seek admission using a qualifying UBE score • Strong academic credentials
