Litigation Associate

Position Overview

A well-established legal practice seeks a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its team in NYC. This role involves managing a broad range of commercial and real estate disputes, from pre-trial proceedings through resolution. This is a full time position with a hybrid on-site work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to commercial and real estate matters
• Draft pleadings, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients throughout the litigation process
• Manage multiple matters efficiently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission and good standing with a U.S. state bar
• Strong knowledge of state-level and federal court procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with trials, depositions, and court appearances
• Several years of experience practicing commercial and real estate litigation
