Litigation Associate (Mid to Senior Level)

About the role

You will work closely with partners on disputes from first instruction through to judgment and enforcement: assessing claims and defences, developing case strategy, drafting pleadings and written submissions, preparing witnesses and evidence, and appearing before the Thai courts. Many of our matters involve foreign parties or assets, so you will also work alongside our colleagues in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia, as well as with our relationship firms in other jurisdictions across the region and further afield. A key element of your role will be helping to build and maintain strong relationships with our clients and potential clients, ensuring timely, professional and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

About you

• Thai national
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Law
• Thai Lawyer's License (required)
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in litigation, ideally with a law firm
• Proven experience handling complex commercial litigation, such as contractual, shareholder, construction, real estate or fraud disputes
• Strong drafting of pleadings and submissions in Thai, with good written and spoken English
• Able to run cases independently and supervise junior lawyers in the firm
• A growth mindset: curious, open to feedback and willing to learn new areas of law and new ways of working
• Sound judgment, careful with detail and calm under deadline pressure
