A growing boutique litigation firm in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 1+ year of experience to handle civil defense matters involving insurance defense, medical malpractice, professional liability, and employment litigation.

This opportunity offers hands-on case responsibility, courtroom exposure, direct attorney mentorship, and long-term partnership potential in a collaborative firm environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage civil litigation cases across insurance defense, medical malpractice, employment, and general liability.
• Handle discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs while contributing to case strategy.
• Gain courtroom experience, mentorship, case ownership, and potential partnership opportunities.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$110,000 – $130,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
