Role Description

The successful candidate will manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception through trial, including:

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Taking and defending depositions
• Court appearances and oral argument
• Mediations and settlement negotiations
• Trial preparation and first-chair or second-chair trial opportunities
• Direct client communication and case strategy

Qualifications

• Active member of the California State Bar
• 1–10+ years of civil litigation experience (insurance defense experience preferred, but not required)
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Experience handling motions, depositions, discovery, and court appearances
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload a plus
