Position Overview

A mid-size insurance-defense law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 2–3 years of civil litigation experience , specifically handling No-Fault defense matters , to join its New York City office.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle defense of New York No-Fault litigation matters
• Represent clients in civil court proceedings
• Handle arbitrations and Examinations Under Oath (EUOs)
• Conduct legal research, case analysis, pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related work
• Manage cases throughout the litigation process
• Prepare legal documents and correspondence

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in New York
• 2–3 years of civil litigation experience
• Direct experience handling No-Fault defense matters
• Knowledge of New York No-Fault and insurance laws
• Experience with civil court, arbitrations, and EUOs
• Strong written and analytical skills

Preferred Experience

• Declaratory judgment actions
• Litigation in the New York State Supreme Court
• Trial experience
• Strong legal writing samples

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $115,000–$120,000 , depending on experience
• Hybrid work schedule
