Our practice encompasses business and civil litigation, dispute resolution, personal injury, and immigration law, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions (e.g., H-1B, O-1, NIW, and EB-1A) and family-based immigration matters.

Our litigation practice handles a variety of civil disputes, including contract disputes, business-related claims, and other contested matters. We represent clients throughout the litigation process, from pre-litigation negotiations and case evaluation to pleadings, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.

We are committed to delivering practical, strategic, and client-focused legal solutions. As our litigation practice continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney to join our team and contribute to the firm's continued development.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a licensed Litigation Attorney to join our growing Litigation team at Lingtu Law Office. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, along with the ability to manage litigation matters efficiently and independently.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a civil litigation caseload, including contingency matters, from intake through settlement or trial
• Meet each new client at the start of their case for a short Know Your Client meeting
• Draft pleadings, motions, oppositions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement demands
• Take and defend depositions
• Appear at hearings, case management conferences, mediations, and trials in California state courts
• Research legal issues and write memos on case strategy
• Keep clients informed about case status, options, and likely outcomes
• Track deadlines and keep case files organized and current
• Work with paralegals and staff to keep cases moving

Requirements:

• Active California State Bar license in good standing
• 2 years of litigation experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of California civil procedure, discovery, and motion practice
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Able to appear in court and handle depositions independently
• Organized and able to manage multiple deadlines

Preferred

• Experience in personal injury, business disputes, or real estate litigation
• Trial or arbitration experience

Schedule

• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
