Litigation Attorney

Our client, a well-established and growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm, is seeking a Litigation Attorney in Orlando, FL to join its team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney who enjoys handling high-value cases, taking ownership of their caseload, and getting meaningful courtroom and trial experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury cases from filing through verdict
• Meet with clients and file lawsuits
• Handle written discovery and depositions
• Retain and work with expert witnesses
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances
• Negotiate settlements
• Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdict
• Draft and file motions, including post-trial motions
• Provide direction and guidance to supporting legal staff

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing
• 1-5 years of personal injury litigation experience
• Experience handling an active litigation caseload
• Strong deposition, negotiation, and litigation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong courtroom presence
• Genuine interest in taking cases to trial
