Litigation Attorney

Pay: $100,000.00 to 125,000.00 per year

Job description:

We are seeking highly motivated applicants for a full-time position as a personal injury litigation attorney.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases including but not limited to automobile accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, and catastrophic injuries.

• You will ultimately manage your own personal injury docket from suit to trial. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Sign up new personal injury clients.

• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies.

• Prepare pleadings and written discovery.

• Prepare and conduct depositions.

• Attend court hearings and mediations.

• Prepare cases for trial.

• Attend trial.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be detail-oriented and able to manage a big caseload.

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Spanish fluency preferred, not required.
