Litigation Attorney – Nevada

DBLF Injury Lawyers is seeking an experienced Nevada-licensed Litigation Attorney to join our litigation team.

We are looking for an attorney who wants to litigate cases and try lawsuits. This is not a position for someone who wants to spend their career behind a desk simply moving files. We want an attorney who enjoys depositions, motion practice, strategy, arguing in court, preparing cases for trial, and standing in front of a jury.

What We're Looking For

• Active Nevada Bar license
• 5+ years of litigation experience
• Meaningful experience handling cases through the litigation process
• Strong deposition and motion-practice skills
• Excellent written and oral advocacy
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
• Trial experience strongly preferred
• A genuine desire to try cases
• Personal injury experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider an accomplished litigator from another practice area

The Position

You will be responsible for litigating cases from filing through resolution or trial, including:

• Developing litigation and trial strategy
• Drafting and arguing motions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Working with experts
• Preparing witnesses
• Conducting mediations and settlement conferences
• Preparing cases for trial
• Trying cases when they should be tried

We are not looking for someone whose primary goal is to settle every case as quickly as possible. We want an attorney who understands when a case should be resolved—and when it is time to put the case in front of a jury.

Compensation

Compensation is negotiable and will be based on the experience, litigation background, trial experience, and overall qualifications of the attorney we hire.
