Litigation Clerk

About the role

The successful candidate will provide support in the day-to-day handling of litigation matters, including filing, documentation, correspondence and other administrative tasks relating to Court matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, filing and service of cause papers and other Court documents.
• Prepare and organise documents, bundles, files and correspondence for litigation matters.
• Attend to e-filing and other Court-related administrative matters.
• Maintain and update physical and electronic files and records.
• Assist lawyers in preparing documents and materials for case managements, hearings and trials.
• Monitor Court dates, deadlines and filing requirements.
• Perform general administrative duties relating to litigation matters.

About you

• Minimum SPM qualification.
• Previous experience in a law firm, particularly in litigation, will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with e-filing and Court procedures will be an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Responsible, reliable and willing to learn.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
