Litigation

·       Manage and handle the Bank’s litigation matters, including cases where the Bank acts as both plaintiff and defendant.

·       Analyze facts and legal issues, and prepare and review relevant legal documents and case-related documentation.

·       Provide legal advice to internal business units on disputes and litigation risks.

·       Coordinate with and monitor the performance of external law firms and legal counsel.

·       Support negotiation, mediation, settlement, and other dispute resolution activities.

·       Monitor and coordinate legal enforcement and debt recovery processes.

·       Prepare and maintain litigation status reports, including litigation exposure and key legal risks.

·    Research and monitor relevant laws, court judgments, regulations, and legal developments applicable to the banking business

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent.

·       5–7 years of experience in Litigation, Dispute Resolution, and/or Banking Legal.

·       Strong knowledge of Civil and Commercial Law and Civil Procedure.

·       Experience in loan and credit matters, debt collection, legal enforcement, or consumer litigation will be an advantage.

·       Strong skills in legal research, legal writing, and legal analysis.

·       Strong ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.

·       Strong communication and coordination skills with Business Units, External Counsel, and relevant stakeholders.

·       A valid Lawyer’s License is required.

·       Good command of English, particularly in reading and drafting legal documents
