Litigation Lawyer

Key Responsibilities:

Litigation & Dispute Management

• Handle all stages of litigation, including case assessment, strategy development, and court representation
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, affidavits, and legal briefs
• Represent the company in hearings, trials, arbitration, and mediation proceedings
• Coordinate with external counsel and monitor case progress

Legal Advisory

• Provide sound legal advice on disputes, claims, and risk exposure
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations affecting the organization
• Advise management on legal strategies and implications of business decisions

Case & Risk Management

• Conduct legal research and case analysis to support litigation strategy
• Evaluate potential legal risks and recommend preventive measures
• Maintain accurate documentation of legal cases and proceedings

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
• Assist in developing internal policies to mitigate legal risks
• Support corporate governance initiatives

Contract & Documentation Support

• Review and assist in drafting contracts and legal documents related to disputes
• Ensure legal protection in agreements and settlements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB or JD); member in good standing of the Integrated Bar
• At least 5–10 years of litigation experience (civil, criminal, or corporate litigation)
• Proven experience in court appearances and handling complex cases
