Litigation Paralegal - Insurance Defense Paralegal (Hybrid) New Jersey, NJ

Russo & Gould, LLP is a well-established and growing litigation practice seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Defense Paralegal to support attorneys in all phases of civil litigation. The ideal candidate will have prior litigation and/or insurance defense experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. (90-day in office requirement to start and then 1 to 2 work from home days as determined).

Responsibilities :

• Handling matters from inception to trial
• Drafting and filing legal documents (pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affirmations, affidavits and the like)
• Managing case files, coordinating discovery, scheduling depositions, and communicating with clients, outside counsel and court personnel
• Supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of experience as a defense litigation Paralegal
• Familiarity with New Jersey courts (NJ eCourts & Pacer) procedures and e-filing systems
• Proficiency in managing discovery, trial preparation, and document production
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
• Preferred:
• Experience in personal injury and/or insurance defense litigation
• Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or Bachelor’s degree

Russo & Gould offers competitive hourly compensation of $52k to $75k annually based on experience and a flexible hybrid work schedule offered after introductory period.
