Litigation Paralegal

A well-established and highly regarded full-service law firm headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Insurance Practice Group. This is a confidential search on behalf of a firm known for its sophisticated client base, collegial culture, and commitment to legal excellence across the Southeast. The ideal candidate will bring a strong litigation background with hands-on experience supporting defense-side matters, a paralegal certificate from an accredited program, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload with precision and professionalism. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting attorneys with pleadings, motions, and briefs; conducting legal research on insurance-related matters; reviewing and summarizing medical records and depositions; coordinating case timelines and deadlines; organizing case files and electronic databases; supporting trial preparation including exhibits and witness coordination; and communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and experts.

The right candidate is a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work with limited oversight. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of integrity.
