Litigation Paralegal

About the Role

Levi & Korsinsky, LLP is seeking a smart, sharp, and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join our Securities Litigation team. This is a temporary position that will begin ASAP until late February 2027. You'll gain hands-on experience in complex litigation across federal and state courts throughout the country. We’re looking for candidates who are eager to learn, take initiative, and are serious about building a career in litigation support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation: case initiation, discovery, settlement, mediation/arbitration, and appeal.
• Assist in preparing legal documents, including briefs, memoranda, exhibits, tables of contents and authorities, letters, and more.
• Learn and apply Bluebook citation and proper formatting using MS Word and Styles.
• Conduct and manage e-filing in federal and state courts nationwide , including researching and complying with local rules for drafting and filing requirements.
• Maintain and organize case files and data using document management tools.
• Update and normalize client data in Excel.
• Assist with calendaring and tracking litigation deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of U.S. federal and state court systems and rules
• Demonstrated experience filing in multiple jurisdictions and the ability to research local rules to determine proper formatting and e-filing procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and basic familiarity with document management systems
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, think critically, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new platforms

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $25-$30/hour , based on experience
