Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Duties

• Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing and maintaining legal files using document management systems such as iManage.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to support case development across various practice areas including civil litigation, personal injury, family law, and commercial disputes.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
• Manage discovery processes by reviewing documents, performing document review tasks, and coordinating depositions.
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and summaries; coordinate logistics for court filings using electronic filing systems.
• Interview clients, witnesses, experts, and other relevant parties to gather information pertinent to ongoing cases.
• Support attorneys in procedural law compliance, case deadlines, and court procedures while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Utilize project management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and ensure timely completion of case-related activities.

Requirements

• Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in litigation support across diverse practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), workers' compensation law, or tribal law is preferred.
• Proficiency in legal support software including PCLaw, iManage, Westlaw, LexisNexis, Word processing tools (Microsoft Office), and document management systems.
• Solid understanding of procedural law requirements for civil litigation and experience with legal research techniques.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear legal documents and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally at all times.
• Experience with client communication and interviewing techniques; demonstrated proofreading skills for legal documents.
• Knowledge of general & commercial litigation processes along with familiarity in areas such as personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, patent law, immigration law, family law or tribal regulations is highly desirable.
• A proactive attitude with project management capabilities; ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.

Pay: $55,500.00 - $120,000.00 per year
