Litigation Paralegal

CBIZ is partnering with a mid-size law firm in the search for a Litigation Paralegal for their Century City, California office. This is a hybrid position that offers three remote days per week once trained. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience out of a mid-sized to large defense law firm and strong skills, including eDiscovery and trial work.

Duties

• Making trial binders
• Motion work
• Prep for depositions, hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations
• Review and summarize deposition transcripts
• Assist with discovery requests and responses
• Document Production
• Document review (DISCO and Relativity, a plus)
• Pull judicial profiles
• Record cites
• Redaction of documents
• Subpoenas
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of California litigation paralegal experience from a mid-size to large defense law firm
• Must qualify as a paralegal with a certification or attorney attestation
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and handle large volume of work
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently
• Knowledge of Relativity and DISCO a strong plus
• Experience with trial war room and trial support preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Must be a strong multi-tasker
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

The salary range for this position is from $100,000-$130,000, DOE.

MUST BE ABLE TO PHYSICALLY WORK IN OFFICE IN CENTURY CITY 2 DAYS PER WEEK ONCE TRAINED.
