Job Opportunity for Litigation Paralegal with Established, Reputable Firm

Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Location: Sacramento

Job Duties:

• Respond to and propound discovery
• Assist in drafting and putting together motions utilizing templates
• Assist with deposition preparation
• Calendar management, tracking for deadlines
• E-filing at the state and federal level
• Help to prepare for trial i.e trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, jury instructions
• Provide support on transactional matters such as conducting legal research and drafting memos. Review ordinances/documents related to gaming and economic development
• Occasional OT but not typical

Requirements:

• Civil litigation experience; business litigation and/or tribal law experience a plus
• Excellent communication

Compensation:

• $40-46/hr DOE
• Y/E discretionary bonus
