Live Host

About the role

You will drive online engagement and offline foot traffic for our car dealership. Your primary duty is to host energetic live-streaming sessions on platforms like TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram to showcase new and pre-owned vehicle inventories, explain ongoing promotions, and convert online viewers into physical showroom leads.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed vehicle walkarounds, highlighting exterior design, interior comfort, boot space, and safety features.
• Explain on-the-road pricing, monthly installment estimates, downpayment structures, and current manufacturer or dealership rebates.
• Interact directly with live chat participants, answering inquiries about car specs, color availability, and trade-in valuations.
• Coordinate seamlessly with the sales team to hand over qualified leads and secure test-drive appointments at the showroom.
• Produce secondary short-form promotional clips and vehicle teaser videos for social media feeds between live broadcasts.
• Visit roadshows and marketing events when required to conduct livestreams or create event content.
• Support on-ground marketing activities to increase event awareness and audience engagement.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to maximize online exposure during roadshows and showroom events.
• Attend HQ training sessions, product briefings, and marketing workshops when required.
• Participate in HQ-initiated livestream campaigns, competitions, assessments, or content initiatives.
• Continuously improve product knowledge, presentation skills, and livestream techniques through training and self-development.
• Ensure all livestream activities comply with HQ brand guidelines, communication standards, and campaign requirements.
• Represent the Proton and Proton e.MAS brands professionally across all livestreams and digital content.

About you

• Confident, engaging, and articulate on-camera presence with the ability to improvise and maintain high energy.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; proficiency in Mandarin or other local dialects is a major advantage for diverse customer segments.
• Basic understanding of automotive specifications, car ownership financing, and the Malaysian car market.
• Prior experience in live e-commerce selling, customer service, or automotive sales presentation.
• Flexibility to work on-site at the dealership showroom during peak weekend broadcast hours or special launch events.
