Live-In Caregiver

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patients’ health by observing for any changes in condition or behavior
• Administer medications accurately following care plans and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and follow personalized care plans that promote well-being and independence
• Provide emotional support through active listening, companionship, and engaging activities that foster social interaction and mental stimulation
• Document all care activities thoroughly while respecting patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards

• Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable
• Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain required certifications is expected
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) needs is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving; patience and excellent communication are essential
• Ability to work independently in a live-in setting while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
