Duties

• Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and medication administration
• Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs tailored to their dietary requirements
• Manage behavior and provide emotional support for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
• Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as needed, ensuring safe transportation
• Monitor health conditions and report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals
• Engage in activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction for clients requiring hospice or senior care

Qualifications

• Proven assisted living experience or background in nursing home or home care settings
• Strong knowledge of patient care practices, including dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Valid driving license with a clean driving record for safe transportation duties
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting with mobility or transfers
• Excellent caregiving skills with patience, compassion, and strong communication abilities
• Flexibility to work live-in shifts that may include evenings, weekends, or overnight stays

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
