About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Live-in Carer to support an individual who uses an automated wheelchair. No hoisting is required. Experience with step transfer moving and handling is required. The role focuses on providing personal care, meal preparation, companionship, and assistance with day-to-day living to promote the client's independence, dignity, and wellbeing

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily routines, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare nutritious meals and drinks according to the client's preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light household duties, including laundry, ironing, and general tidying.
• Support with shopping, appointments, and social activities as required.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect at all times.

Requirements

• Previous care experience preferred.
• Caring, patient, and dependable nature.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to work independently and provide person-centred care.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
