Live in Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Live-in Housekeeper to provide exceptional cleaning services within private residential or hospitality settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents or guests. This role offers the unique opportunity to live on-site, providing flexible and consistent housekeeping support. Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial services is highly desirable, as it demonstrates a strong understanding of professional cleaning standards and customer service. It may also have some light reception duties, such as checking guests in and out and on occasion cooking maybe required. The successful applicant will be organised, reliable, and committed to delivering outstanding service in a discreet manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage laundry and linen services as required, ensuring all textiles are clean, pressed, and stored appropriately.
• Organise cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the relevant personnel promptly.
• Assist with organising household or hospitality-related tasks such as stock management or guest requests when necessary.
• Adhere strictly to confidentiality policies and maintain discretion at all times given the private nature of the role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Discretion and professionalism when dealing with residents or guests.
