Live-in Porter

Job Summary

Àjàní Apartments is seeking a qualified, experienced, and service-oriented Porter to support daily operations and ensure guests receive courteous, efficient, and professional assistance throughout their stay.

The ideal candidate must be dependable, proactive, physically capable of performing the duties required, and committed to maintaining high standards of hospitality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests courteously and assist with luggage when required.
• Provide prompt assistance with guest requests and enquiries.
• Support check-in and checkout activities as assigned.
• Assist with moving supplies, linen, equipment, and other operational items.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of designated common areas.
• Report maintenance concerns, security issues, damaged property, and unusual incidents to management.
• Support the housekeeping team and other operational functions when necessary.
• Handle company property and guest belongings responsibly.
• Follow company procedures, maintain professional conduct, and protect guest privacy.
• Carry out other reasonable operational duties assigned by management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a porter, hotel attendant, guest service assistant, or in a similar hospitality role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, courteous, honest, and well-presented.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions, work with minimal supervision, and collaborate with colleagues.
• Physically capable of handling luggage and performing practical operational duties.

Work Arrangement: Full-time, on-site (Live-in)

Accommodation: Accommodation is provided on the premises. Applicants must be willing to reside at Àjàní Apartments and support daily operational needs in accordance with the agreed work schedule.

Salary: Based on experience.

Pay: ₦90,000.00 - ₦110,000.00 per month
