Stoned Genie is an established online smoke shop specializing in affordable glass products, accessories, mystery boxes, and unique gift items. We are expanding our live-selling channel on Whatnot and are looking for an energetic, dependable person to help host live shows and grow the channel.

Job Overview

We are hiring a confident and outgoing Live Sales Host / E-Commerce Associate to host live shopping shows on Whatnot from our Riverside warehouse.

The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking on camera, interacting with customers, presenting products, and maintaining a fun, fast-paced atmosphere. Previous live-selling experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.

This is a good opportunity for someone interested in social media, livestreaming, e-commerce, sales, content creation, or building an on-camera presence.

Responsibilities

• Host approximately four Whatnot live-selling shows per week
• Present and demonstrate products clearly and enthusiastically
• Engage with viewers and respond to questions during livestreams
• Run auctions, fixed-price listings, giveaways, bundles, and mystery-box promotions
• Maintain a positive, entertaining, and professional on-camera presence
• Learn product details, pricing, and selling points
• Prepare and organize products before each show
• Help clean and reset the livestream area after shows
• Create and organize listings for upcoming shows
• Assist with basic product photography and short-form video content
• Help identify successful products, show formats, and promotions
• Follow company policies and Whatnot platform guidelines
• Track basic results, including sales, viewers, followers, and products sold

Qualifications

• Comfortable speaking and presenting on camera
• Friendly, energetic, and able to hold viewers’ attention
• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Comfortable learning about a variety of products
• Organized and able to work independently
• Basic familiarity with smartphones, social media, and livestreaming
• Able to stand for extended periods and handle products during shows
• Previous experience in retail, sales, content creation, livestreaming, or social media is preferred but not required

Schedule

The position will initially include approximately four shows per week. Most shifts will be around three to five hours, including show preparation and cleanup.

Some evening or weekend availability may be required because livestream schedules are based on customer activity and show performance.

A consistent schedule will be established with the selected candidate.

Compensation

• $17.00 per hour
• Part-time employment
• Paid training
