Livestream Camera Operators (3)

This is a volunteer position. Housing is not provided.

All Danbury Westerners home games are livestreamed on ESPN+ or The NECBL Network.

Camera Operator responsibilities include ensuring all video feeds are in place before the

livestream begins. During the livestream the Camera Operator works closely with the

Producer/Director, Broadcasters and Sideline Reporter to ensure our broadcast remains among

the most professional in the NECBL. After the livestream ends the Camera Operator must

dismantle and store all camera equipment.

In order to complete their duties, the individual must have basic technical skills, be able to

follow directions from the producer/director, have an eye for detail, and a basic understanding

of baseball’s rules and strategies.

It should be noted that the camera operators work from the top of the press box or on top of a

scaffold. They must be able to climb a ladder to reach their work locations and be comfortable

with heights.
