About the Role

We are looking for an alert, organised and proactive Livestream Moderator to support our livestream sessions on platforms such as TikTok Shop and Shopee.

You will work closely with our livestream hosts to manage the technical and operational aspects of each session. This includes monitoring comments, pinning products, managing promotions, responding to viewers and ensuring the livestream runs smoothly from start to finish.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, can multitask effectively and stays calm in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification.
• Fluent in written and spoken Bahasa Melayu. The ability to communicate in English or Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Familiar with TikTok, Shopee or other social media and e-commerce platforms.
• Previous experience in livestream moderation, e-commerce, customer service or social media is an advantage, but not compulsory.
• Comfortable using computers, smartphones and livestreaming tools.
• Able to type quickly and communicate clearly when responding to viewer comments.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
• Able to multitask and react quickly during live sessions.
• Responsible, punctual and disciplined.
• Able to remain calm and solve problems during unexpected situations.
• A proactive team player who communicates well with hosts and other team members.
• Willing to work according to scheduled livestream hours, including evenings, weekends or public holidays when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support livestream hosts throughout TikTok Shop and Shopee livestream sessions.
• Prepare products, promotional information, vouchers and livestream materials before each session.
• Set up livestream rooms and check equipment, internet connection, sound, lighting and platform settings.
• Pin and unpin products accurately according to the host’s presentation and livestream flow.
• Launch vouchers, promotions, giveaways and other campaign features at the correct time.
• Monitor viewer comments, questions and feedback throughout the livestream.
• Respond to common customer enquiries clearly, promptly and professionally.
• Filter spam, inappropriate comments and disruptive viewer activity.
• Share important questions, stock updates and technical issues with the host in real time.
• Keep the livestream running smoothly and assist with troubleshooting when issues arise.
• Track product performance, viewer engagement, sales and other important livestream results.
• Record customer feedback and frequently asked questions for future improvement.
• Assist the team in reviewing livestream performance and suggesting improvements.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organisation and readiness of the livestream area and equipment.
