LLM Application Engineer

Quectel Wireless Solutions is global IoT technology developer and cellular module supplier of 5G, LTE, LTE-A, LPWA, Smart Module, C-V2X, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA(+) and GNSS modules. Due to business expansion on Serbian market in R&D Centre, Quectel is looking for motivated and proactive candidates to join our team in Belgrade.

ON-SITE , Monday - Friday with flexible start between 7:30 - 9:30 AM.

We are looking for: LLM Application Engineer

Employment contract limitted to 24 months.

Main responsibilities:

• Work with users across regions to gather business requirements and translate them into practical AI applications, agents, RAG, or workflow solutions.
• Configure, integrate, troubleshoot, and continuously optimize AI tools, agents, knowledge bases, and workflows.
• Develop lightweight scripts, APIs, and prototypes, and support user training, adoption, and feedback closure.
• Other tasks assigned by the immediate superior, in line with the employee’s position, qualifications, and scope of work.

Requirements and preferable skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience in software development, including at least 1 year of hands-on experience with AI technologies and applications.
• Experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting AI applications, tools, agents, and automated workflows.
• Good understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agent technologies.
• Practical experience with Python, LangChain, LangGraph, and DeepAgent frameworks and tools.
• Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into practical technical solutions.
• Working knowledge of scripting, APIs, system integrations, and workflow automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain AI tools, knowledge bases, and automated workflows.
• Experience in developing technical prototypes and supporting the implementation and adoption of new technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken..
