LMW & Logistics Executive

About the role

Newbillion Precision Metal Sdn Bhd, a leading manufacturer in the import/export and customs industry, is seeking a dedicated LMW & Logistics Executive to join our dynamic team in Batu Kawan, Penang. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the company's logistics operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

What you'll be doing

1. Overseeing the company's import and export processes, including customs clearance and documentation
2. Coordinating with logistics providers to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods
3. Maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels
4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including Local Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) requirements
5. Liaising with internal departments and external partners to optimise logistics operations
6. Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency
7. Providing regular reports and updates to management on logistics performance and compliance

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar logistics or import/export role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
2. Good understanding of customs regulations, LMW requirements, and other relevant laws and procedures
3. Proficient in using logistics management software and tools
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
