LOAD PLANNER

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Load Planner to join our team at DHL Supply Chain Phils., Inc. in Bustos, Bulacan. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in optimising our supply chain operations and ensuring efficient logistics management. As a Load Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling shipments, managing vehicle capacity, and ensuring timely delivery of goods across our network. This role is essential to maintaining our operational excellence and delivering outstanding service to our clients in the banking and financial services sector, particularly within the mortgages industry.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule load assignments to maximise vehicle utilisation and minimise transportation costs
• Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and customer service teams to ensure accurate and timely shipments
• Monitor shipment status and resolve any delays or issues that may arise during transit
• Optimise routing and consolidate loads to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact
• Maintain accurate records of load plans, shipments, and related documentation
• Analyse freight data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in logistics operations
• Communicate with drivers and logistics partners to ensure compliance with load specifications and safety standards
• Prepare reports on load performance, vehicle utilisation rates, and cost analysis
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies that enhance supply chain efficiency

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Load Planner or in a similar logistics coordination role within supply chain management
• Strong knowledge of load optimisation techniques and vehicle capacity management
• Proficiency with load planning software and logistics management systems
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address logistics challenges efficiently
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in shipment planning and documentation
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety compliance standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis
• Preferred: Experience in the banking, financial services, or mortgages industry supply chain
