Load Planner

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Load Planner to join our logistics team comfortable with working in Night Shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and optimizing freight loads, coordinating with carriers and dispatch teams, maximizing truck utilization, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate loads based on truck capacity, shipment requirements, delivery schedules, and operational priorities.
• Optimize load planning to maximize equipment utilization and minimize empty miles and transportation costs.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, carriers, drivers, and brokers to ensure smooth freight movement.
• Analyze shipment details, pickup and delivery locations, transit times, and route feasibility.
• Monitor load status and proactively address delays, capacity issues, and scheduling conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, transportation guidelines, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of load assignments, shipment updates, and transportation documentation.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve operational challenges.
• Support dispatch operations and ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Identify opportunities to improve load efficiency, service quality, and overall operational performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum experience of 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in load planning, dispatch, freight operations, or transportation logistics is preferred.
• Knowledge of US trucking operations, including FTL and LTL, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with load boards, transportation management systems (TMS), and route-planning tools is desirable.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
