Load Testing Engineer

Ümumi məlumat As a Load Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of our digital banking systems under heavy load. You will work closely with QA engineers, developers, DevOps, and product teams to simulate real-world scenarios and identify potential bottlenecks before they impact our users.

• Development of performance test scripts and stubs:
• Create and maintain performance testing scripts using Java/Scala and Gatling. Develop emulators, data generators, and auxiliary tools for external integrations.
• Infrastructure support and development:
• Maintain and evolve the performance testing infrastructure using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Grafana, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis, and others.
• Test strategy design and load profile creation:
• Design testing strategies, develop test scenarios and load profiles based on project documentation and business requirements.
• Execution and analysis of performance tests:
• Plan, execute, and monitor performance tests. Identify bottlenecks and performance issues based on system behavior and collected metrics under load.
• Reporting and providing recommendations:
• Prepare detailed reports with test results analysis and provide performance optimization and architectural improvement recommendations.
• Stakeholder communication:
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to align on goals, expectations, and deliver test results.
• DevOps collaboration and knowledge sharing:
• Work closely with development and DevOps teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and provide training within the team.

• Strong experience with performance testing tools (such as Gatling, JMeter, or similar).
• Proficient in Java or Scala for developing performance testing scripts, stubs, and emulators for external integrations.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write complex queries with joins and perform basic data analysis.
• Skills in designing load profiles, calculating test intensity, identifying potential bottlenecks, and experience in planning, executing, and analyzing performance tests.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab, or equivalent systems.
• Confident working in Linux environments and understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP).
• Experience with collaborative development, strong knowledge of Git, and version control best practices.
• Strong communication skills, ability to conduct professional correspondence and share knowledge within the team.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
