What they need
SG Design Studios is a creative production company supporting the preparation and delivery of custom graphics, printed materials, signage, promotional products, and visual branding projects. Our work requires careful coordination of materials, finished products, production supplies, and customer orders from receiving through final preparation.
As our production needs continue to grow, we are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Loader to support daily receiving, material movement, production staging, order preparation, and general operations.
Position Overview
The Loader plays an important role in keeping materials, supplies, and finished products moving efficiently through daily production operations.
This hands-on position assists with unloading incoming deliveries, receiving and organizing materials, moving products between storage and production areas, staging supplies for scheduled jobs, and preparing completed orders for pickup, delivery, or shipment.
Because graphics, printed materials, signage, vinyl products, and other finished items can require careful handling, attention to product condition and organization is essential. The Loader helps ensure materials are moved safely, customer orders remain properly identified, and finished products are protected from unnecessary damage.
Working closely with production, packaging, inventory, and operations team members, the Loader helps maintain an organized flow of materials from incoming delivery through production and final order preparation.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, physically active, and attentive to detail. Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, print production, signage, shipping, fulfillment, or material handling is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload boxes, production materials, printed products, signage, supplies, and other items from delivery vehicles
- Receive incoming materials and move them to designated receiving, storage, production, or staging areas
- Sort and organize vinyl, substrates, printed materials, packaging supplies, promotional products, and other production resources
- Verify quantities, labels, product descriptions, and basic receiving information
- Compare incoming materials with packing slips, work orders, or available receiving documentation when required
- Inspect incoming packages and materials for visible damage, incorrect items, or quantity discrepancies
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrectly received materials promptly
- Move materials safely between receiving, storage, production, finishing, packaging, and shipping areas
- Retrieve materials and supplies according to work orders, production schedules, or team requests
- Stage materials for upcoming production jobs and keep project components properly organized
- Maintain clear separation between materials and finished products assigned to different customer orders
- Handle printed graphics, signage, vinyl materials, and finished products carefully to help prevent scratches, bending, crushing, surface damage, or other avoidable damage
- Assist with moving larger or awkwardly shaped materials using appropriate handling methods
- Support production team members by delivering materials and supplies to designated work areas
- Move completed products from production or finishing areas to packaging and order-preparation locations
- Assist with wrapping, protecting, packing, and securing finished products when needed
- Stage completed customer orders for pickup, delivery, installation, or shipment
- Verify that staged materials and completed products are associated with the correct work order or project
- Assist with preparing boxes, protective materials, packaging supplies, and labels for outgoing orders
- Help organize incoming inventory and replenish frequently used production and packaging supplies
- Assist with basic inventory counts and material-location checks
- Identify misplaced materials or low supply levels and communicate them to the appropriate team member
- Use carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other approved material-handling equipment when appropriate
- Maintain clean and organized receiving, storage, staging, production-support, and shipping areas
- Keep aisles and work areas clear to support safe movement of people, products, and materials
- Follow work orders, material-handling instructions, and established operating procedures
- Coordinate with production and operations personnel regarding material needs, completed projects, and order priorities
- Support changing production schedules and time-sensitive project requirements
- Assist with additional receiving, inventory, packaging, fulfillment, and production-support activities as needed
Qualifications

- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform hands-on material-handling duties
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Ability to read basic labels, quantities, work orders, and project information
- Ability to keep materials and customer projects properly organized and separated
- Comfortable performing physically active work throughout portions of the scheduled shift
- Ability to handle finished products carefully while maintaining an efficient work pace
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Responsible approach to handling customer products and company materials
- Ability to adapt to changing production schedules and operational priorities
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn production materials, handling procedures, and company workflows
