We specialize in freight transportation, container drayage, full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipping, refrigerated transportation, warehousing, transloading, and cargo distribution.

Our operations are built on reliability, efficiency, safety, and teamwork. We are looking for a dependable and motivated Loader to support daily warehouse activities, freight handling, and shipment preparation.

Position Overview

As a Loader, you will play an essential role in ensuring freight is handled safely, accurately, and efficiently throughout the loading and unloading process.

You will assist with moving, organizing, staging, and preparing shipments while supporting warehouse operations and maintaining an orderly work environment.

The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing physical tasks in an active warehouse setting. Previous experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight, packages, pallets, and materials from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
• Assist with container unloading, transloading, and general freight-handling operations.
• Move and organize shipments within receiving, storage, staging, and loading areas.
• Prepare, palletize, wrap, label, and stage freight for transportation or storage.
• Verify shipment quantities, labels, destinations, and basic shipping information.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing freight for visible damage, missing items, or discrepancies.
• Assist with cross-docking and transferring freight between inbound and outbound shipments.
• Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other authorized warehouse equipment safely.
• Arrange and stabilize freight to support safe transportation and efficient use of available space.
• Follow loading instructions, shipping documentation, and established warehouse procedures.
• Work with warehouse personnel, drivers, and operations staff to support timely shipment processing.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and loading areas.
• Follow company safety standards and proper lifting and material-handling practices.
• Perform additional warehouse and freight-handling tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, or freight handling is a plus but not required.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance.
• Ability to perform physical work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic understanding of shipping labels and warehouse procedures, or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper freight-handling practices.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and support different areas of warehouse operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move freight and packages safely, with assistance or equipment when appropriate.
• Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to work in an active warehouse, loading dock, and transportation environment.
• Ability to follow safe lifting practices and equipment-handling procedures.
