Fastrak under instruction from the Senior Management of one of Perth’s leading quarry mine site companies have been asked to engage a Night Shift Loader Operator / Supervisor for an immediate start. The client is one of Western Australia’s largest companies. The position for the right candidates is long term, temporary to permanent - for applicants who are looking for career advancement or change.

Overseas or interstate applications will not be considered for this role

About the job:

· Full time casual night shift – temporary to permanent after qualifying period

· Base pay rate plus penalty rates and super

· Operation of earthmoving equipment

· Supervision of night shift personnel

About you:

· You must be reside in Western Australia and have unrestricted working rights

· Must hold a valid driver’s licence with own reliable transport

· Must hold High Risk Licence for relevant Loader Operation

· You must live within 30kms of Mundaring, in the Perth Hills or surrounding areas

· Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role

· Recent experience in operating earthmoving equipment in a quarry highly regarded

· Ability to conduct pre-start meetings, work with Take 5, JSA, OH&S and production documentation

· Computer literate with relevant programmes

· Able to maintain crushers, screens, conveyors to keep mining operations productive

· Able to supervise shut downs

· Commitment to Company safety policies and procedures

· Able to pass a pre-employment medical and a 28 day drug and alcohol screenings
