Loader Operator Snow Removal

Duties

• Operate loaders, equipment to perform snow removal tasks with precision and efficiency
• Conduct pre-operation inspections on equipment such as Caterpillar loaders and other machinery to ensure safety and optimal performance
• Clear snow from roads, parking lots, sidewalks, and walkways while adhering to safety protocols
• Coordinate with team members to prioritize areas based on traffic flow and safety needs
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Must have own vehicle to reach location on Carling Ave
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures during snow removal operations to minimize hazardsRequirements
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment including loaders, in a construction or municipal setting
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues quickly on-site
• Valid driver’s license preferred for transport to loader
• Knowledge of heavy equipment brands such as Caterpillar or similar manufacturers is highly desirable
• Ability to work outdoors in cold weather, loaders are heated
• Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and snow removal best practices

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
