Loader/Equipment Operator

The Loader operator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of plant equipment while providing support to crew members. This is a safety sensitive position.

Feed and stockpile from plant.

Equipment maintenance. This includes oiling, fueling, greasing wear components and filter changes.

Carry out daily checks in accordance with company procedures and site plans.

Keep roads clean and level, accurate use of scale. Quality Control - Zero contaminations.

Pay attention to material being hauled for over size.

Mixing according to product specifications.

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Helping with plant maintenance as needed, including but not limited to, screen changes and shoveling under belts.

Use radio frequency equipment as required.

Troubleshooting equipment issues and notifying supervisor of repairs

Position will be required to move plant to plant with potential out of town jobs as needed.

KEY COMPETENCIES

Capable of physical work and heavy lifting.

Able to work outside in extreme hot & cold weather.

Eager to work in a safety-conscious manner.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Handling heavy loads.

Bend, kneel and able to lift excess of 40lbs.

Sitting for long periods of time.

Attention to detail.

Good hand-eye co-ordination.
