Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes.
• Accurately pick orders using RF scanners and assist with inventory management to ensure stock levels are correct.
• Organize materials within the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and recording transactions in the warehouse management system.
• Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting to move goods safely across the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse work area to promote safety and operational efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation, manual handling, and warehouse operations to prevent accidents or injuries.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or materials handling roles.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, crane systems, and pallet jacks confidently and safely.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and shipping & receiving procedures.
• Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting techniques.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use.
• Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus for growth opportunities.

Pay: $17.10 - $19.50 per hour
