Duties

• Safely load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes, adhering strictly to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Operate material handling equipment including RF scanners, order pickers, and heavy machinery to facilitate efficient movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using inventory management systems and order picking techniques.
• Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy items, stacking pallets, and organizing materials to optimize storage space.
• Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent use of RF scanners and inventory management software.
• Follow all safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy machinery.
• Strong understanding of materials handling techniques, manual handling safety practices, and OSHA standards.
• Experience with inventory management systems and RF scanners is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining proper safety protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintaining safety standards in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
