Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload goods using various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and RF scanners to ensure efficient material handling.
• Assist with order picking by accurately selecting items for shipment or inventory replenishment.
• Conduct manual handling tasks including lifting, carrying, and stacking heavy or bulky items while adhering to safety protocols.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and recording inbound/outbound activities.
• Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring inventory is properly labeled, stored, and accessible for quick retrieval.
• Operate warehouse equipment responsibly, including forklifts and heavy machinery, following all safety guidelines to prevent accidents.
• Support warehouse supervisors by assisting with inventory management tasks and participating in safety audits to promote a secure work environment.

Experience

• Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Familiarity with order picker operations, pallet jacks, forklift driving, and material handling equipment is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving procedures, inventory management systems, and safety protocols.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and shipment measurements accurately.
• Demonstrated manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices.
• Experience working with RF scanners or similar technology used for inventory tracking is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment.

Pay: $17.50 - $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
