Duties

• Safely load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes.
• Operate RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements and update warehouse management systems.
• Assist with order picking by selecting items precisely according to shipping orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments for dispatch.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks while adhering strictly to safety protocols outlined by OSHA standards to prevent injuries.
• Maintain organized storage areas, stacking pallets securely and ensuring materials are stored in compliance with safety regulations.
• Support warehouse operations by performing inventory management tasks, conducting cycle counts, and assisting with stock replenishment as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments.
• Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or material handling machinery.
• Familiarity with order picker systems, RF scanners, and basic math skills for inventory counting and measurements.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining proper ergonomics.
• Previous experience in shipping & receiving processes or warehouse supervision is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate inventory management and order picking.

Pay: $16.70 - $20.50 per hour
