Duties

• Safely load and unload freight using various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes.
• Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and stacking to ensure products are securely stored or prepared for shipment.
• Operate RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements and update warehouse management systems in real-time.
• Assist with order picking by selecting items according to shipping orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain safety protocols by adhering to OSHA standards and company policies during all warehouse activities.
• Conduct shipping and receiving duties, verifying shipments against documentation and inspecting for damages or discrepancies.
• Support warehouse operations by organizing materials, managing inventory levels, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with order picker equipment, forklift operation, crane use, or other heavy equipment is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners enhances efficiency in this role.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to OSHA standards and heavy material handling is essential.
• Warehouse supervisor experience or background in shipping & receiving can provide valuable leadership skills.
• Basic math skills are necessary for accurate counting, measurements, and record keeping.
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate material handling equipment confidently is required for success in this role.

Pay: $17.20 - $21.15 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
