Loading Bay Operative

Are you someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Loading Bay Operative to join our team, working either days - 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm (on alternate weeks), or nights - 10pm to 6am shifts at our Corby site (NN17 4AP).

Let’s get a flavour of the role:

This is an important role at the heart of our operation, helping ensure our products are received, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently so they reach our customers on time and in perfect condition.

· Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently

· Checking deliveries and dispatches against paperwork

· Moving stock using manual handling equipment and, where qualified, forklift trucks

· Maintaining accurate stock records and completing required documentation

· Ensuring products are handled in line with food safety and quality standards

· Keeping the loading bay clean, organised, and safe at all times

· Working closely with warehouse, production, and transport teams to support daily operation

Key Ingredients (what we need to see from you):

· Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, loading bay, or food manufacturing environment is desirable

· A strong commitment to health, safety, and food hygiene standards

· Good attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team

· Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to work

· Flexibility to support operational needs when required

· Forklift Truck (FLT) licence beneficial, but not essential
